Have a Laugh Comedy Club returns to Fishguard this evening (Friday) with award-winning comedians and a sparkling new venue.

The newly opened Ffwrn (St Mary’s Hall) is hosting the evening, the venue boasts relaxed seating and casual dining and the evening of comedy promises to be a great night out. All profits from the event will go to a comedy festival in July in Fishguard’s Theatr Gwaun.

Chris Chopping is a Cardiff based comedian. Within his first two years as a full time stand up he won You Must Be Joking, Newbury Act of The Year, 2011 and reached the Semi Finals of the Welsh Unsigned Stand Up Award 2011, followed by winning Bedford New Act of the year 2012. He gigs regularly, bringing his engaging anecdotal style to audiences around the UK.

Dan Thomas has been credited as "leading the next generation of Welsh comedy" (24/7 Magazine). Originally from Swansea Dan now lives in Cardiff and regularly appears on S4C and in clubs all over Europe. Dan enjoys doing shows in Pembrokeshire and says the audience has the same kind of wicked humour as he does and they always give him one of the warmest welcomes anywhere.

Headlining the show will be Steve Hall an award-winning stand up and one 1/3rd of BBC3's We Are Klang. Regularly appearing on or writing for TV and radio Steve’s "deadpan brilliance" (Time Out) shines through his stories of woe and the occasional middle-class whinge showing that "this is stand-up as it should be: snappy and smart, occasionally nasty, and always funny" (The List)

Tickets are priced at £10 (or £15 with food) and are available from the venue. Doors open 7pm with the show starting at 8pm.
