ARTIST Terry Johns has unveiled his latest exhibition, at Oriel y Parc in St Davids.

Mr Johns, who attended Greenhill Grammar School, is inspired by the work of Augustus John, who also attended the same school at the beginning of the 20th century.

Mr Johns obtained a degree in fine art from he West of England College of Art and has been painting ever since.

Influences include many great masters including Cezanne an Monet.

The paintings in the exhibition have been inspired by the Pembrokeshire coastline, rock formations, vegetation and stonework.

The exhibition can be viewed at Oriel y Parc until September 29, and a second exhibition Image to Words, commemorating the centenary of Dylan Thomas, can be viewed at the Memorial Hall, Laugharne, from August 26 to September 7.
