PAST and present officials of Pembrokeshire YFC will be taking to the stage in six locations across the county this month performing a pantomime.

Written by the immediate past County President Helen Hodges, the cast brings together Pembs YFC County Organiser, Vice Presidents, past Chairman alongside the YFC Queen and her attendants.

The performance is based on a traditional pantomime whereby current County Chairman Alun Griffiths cast as the dame “Cissie” seeks to raise enough money to buy her home with the help of her family.

In true pantomime style there is lots of obstacles to overcome, including battles with the “CCT Crew” baddies which leaves you wonder whether Cissie will ever find love or money.

When asked to describe what the audience can expect, producer Helen joked: “If the audience laughs half as much as we have in rehearsal they are in for a very good evening. Come along and join in the fun”.

The shows are open to everyone, with each performance starting at 7.30pm. They take place on Thursday, November 20 in Clarbeston Road Hall, Friday, November 21in Greenhill School, Tenby, Monday, November 24 in Llawhaden Village Hall, Tuesday, November 25 in Pembrokeshire College, Friday, November 28 in Clunderwen Hall and Saturday, November 29 in Gromlech Theatre.
