ALL children, except one, grow up … captured live at the National Theatre, a recorded performance of JM Barrie’s much-loved tale Peter Pan will be shown at Theatr Mwldan in Cardigan on Saturday, June 10 at 1:30pm.

When Peter Pan, leader of the Lost Boys, loses his shadow, headstrong Wendy helps him to reattach it. In return, she is invited to Neverland, where Tinker Bell the fairy, Tiger Lily and the vengeful Captain Hook await.

All of the favourite characters are here, but with a fresh take and some surprises in the casting.

Captivating and funny, this much acclaimed production, directed by Sally Cookson (NT Live: Jane Eyre) also addresses the poignancy of issues relating to growing-up.

Energetic, full of life, and heart-warming the production is full of inventive staging (including lots of flying) and elements to delight both kids and adults. A riot of magic, music and make-believe ensues.

‘Spellbindingly imaginative. A dazzling production’, says the Radio Times, while the Guardian describes it as ‘Unforgettable. Delightful. Magic.’

Tickets for National Theatre Live screenings are £12.50 (£11.50) and are available now from Mwldan's box office on 01239 621200, online and via smartphones by visiting www.mwldan.co.uk
