JOIN the Cheerful project for an uplifting day of singing and sewing at The Queens Hall, Narberth on Saturday, July 15, from 10am-4pm in preparation for the Narberth Carnival at the end of the month.
The project needs your help to create a throng of humming bees who will be the Queen Bee's entourage as she marches through the streets. There couldn't be a more important role – bees are in decline around the world and play a crucial role in our ecosystems; a third of all our food depends on their pollination.
Come along and create your own beautiful headdress or costume and learn the humming song which will accompany the bees on their journey to the hive.
The workshop will be led by a team of expert seamstresses and a Côr Pawb choir leader. Suitable for children over eight years of age, all children must be accompanied by an adult. No experience of singing or sewing necessary. Entry is free.
