All fathers are allowed into the National Botanic Garden of Wales free of charge on Sunday.

The Fathers’ Day menu also includes beer and barbecues; musical entertainment from local musicians Fiddlebox; family entertainment from Jugglestruck; and family activities, including pond-dipping and Den Building.

Head of marketing at the garden, David Hardy, said: “There’s so much to see here at this time of year, you could easily make a day of it. So why not treat Dad to a slap-up Sunday lunch at our award-winning, licensed restaurant – and then all walk it off around these beautiful gardens?”

The garden is open every day (except Christmas Day) from 10am-6pm, with last entry at 5pm.
