The 14 Signals regiment, based at Brawdy will be parading through Haverfordwest on Wednesday, May 14th to celebrate the huge amount of work the soldiers have been doing in Afghanistan.
The route the regiment will be marching has been changed and they will now form up at the Services Club on Quay Street at 12.30pm.
They will then march up Victoria Place and Picton Place to the cenotaph before receiving Nato medals, presented by Haverfordwest Mayor, Cllr Roy Thomas.
The medals commend the soldiers bravery and hard work in Afghanistan and the presentation will begin at around 12.40pm.
The soldier's wives and family will be lining the street in support and the regiment hope that the shopkeepers and people in Haverfordwest will do the same.
At around 1.20pm the regiment will parade back to the Services Club, stopping to take the salute on Victoria Place. There will then be a reception at the club and the army will present awards to the police, British Legion and members of Haverfordwest Town Council.
Victoria Place, Picton Place and Quay Street will be closed while the soldiers are parading but will remain open during the medal presentations.
