Police have confirmed that a pedestrian was killed in a collision with a car at Pope Hill last night (Thursday).
A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police, said: "At approximately 21.10hrs on Thursday January 17th a fatal road traffic collision occurred on the A4076 Merlins Bridge to Johnston road at a location known as Pope Hill.
"A pedestrian and a vehicle were involved in the collision and sadly the pedestrian died of their injuries at Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest.
"The road was closed for several hours while an examination of the scene was carried out."
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit at Haverfordwest Police station on 101.
