Prospective detectives are invited to learn more about the trove of hidden treasures unearthed across the county this evening (Friday).
Local metal detecting club the Pembrokeshire Prospectors Society is pleased to announce the publication of its latest book, Pembrokeshire’s Past, Lost and Found Volume II, which lists and details artefacts and coins found by its members in Pembrokeshire over the last 14 years.
The society regularly assists archaeologists on excavations in and around Pembrokeshire, and many of its finds have been donated to museums both local and national.
The launch will be held at The Cricket Club, Dale Road, Haverfordwest, this Friday (January 25th) at 7pm, where there will be artefacts on display and club members available to give advice to anyone who is interested in metal detecting.
