Police officers who are continuing to search for missing Ben Thompson from Haverfordwest have released CCTV footage of the 34-year-old.

A group of around 30 people including Ben’s wife Jo, friends and colleagues have made the journey from Haverfordwest to Cardiff and are being kept updated on the search.

Ben was in Cardiff city centre on Saturday, February 2nd for the Wales v Ireland Six Nations game.

He attended Saturday's game at the Millennium Stadium and was seen by friends in Mill Lane at around 6.30pm.

New CCTV footage shows Ben crossing Leckwith Road into Lawrenny Avenue at 7.17pm on Saturday. He appears to have come from the direction of the Jubilee Recreation Ground.

Police search teams are continuing to focus their efforts in this area.

Chief Inspector Eddie Ough said: “Ben’s family and friends are getting increasingly worried and we are keeping them fully updated on our search.

“We would like to thank members of the public who have responded to our appeals for information.

“We are now particularly keen to hear from anyone who has seen Ben since 7.17pm on Saturday.”

Ben is described as 5ft 9in tall, with short brown hair, blue eyes, and was last seen wearing brown leather lace-up boots, blue jeans, and a white shirt with blue thin stripes.
