Missing man Ben Thompson case: body found in River Ely
The family of missing Haverfordwest man Ben Thompson has been told that a body has been found in a river.
Police said that the body was found this afternoon (Tuesday).
A statement from the South Wales Police Force said: "South Wales Police can confirm that a body has this afternoon been found in the River Ely near Penarth Road.
"Formal identification has not taken place.
"The family of missing man Ben Thompson, aged 34, from Haverfordwest, has been informed and are being kept updated by family liaison officers."
Ben has been missing since the Wales V Ireland Six Nations match in Cardiff on February 2nd.
