NEYLAND 1st Brownies have been given a financial boost – several months before they have their first meeting.
The group has been given a cheque for £100 from Milford Haven Round Table to help with costs.
Brown Owl Shelley Arran decided to re-establish the group earlier this year, as she wanted something fun for local girls to get involved with.
Shelley said: “We are so grateful to the Round Table as £100 will enable us to buy a lot of crafting and cooking equipment!”
The group currently has 16 recruits, and will be meeting for the first time in January.
“We want to keep it as close to the original groups as possible,” said Shelley. “We used to love it, but there’s nothing like it in Neyland now.”
Helping Shelley will be Snowy Owl Samantha Evans.
