CADETS from Milford Haven have proved their first aid skills by winning a national competition for the second year running.

Milford Haven Sea Cadets and Royal Marines Cadets bagged first prize at the National Sea Cadet First Aid Competition held at RAF Cranwell, in Lincolnshire, last weekend.

The team of four, representing the south west, was assessed on individual challenges and a group scenario.

The winners then competed against St John Ambulance, Army and Air Cadets in an Inter-Services First Aid Competition, finishing seventh.

Lieutenant (SCC) Mark Flude RNR, the Commanding Officer said: “The cadets have once again shown what training and commitment has achieved!. Milford Haven Sea Cadets and Royal Marines Cadets are certainly known on the map and proved that we excel in life skills.”
