Charges following Milford Haven break ins

A 40-year-old Hakin man has been charged following a spate of burglaries in Milford Haven in the last two months.

Peter Miller McCallum of Lower Hill Street was remanded in custody after appearing before Haverfordwest magistrates on December 18.

McCallum was charged with entering as a trespasser and stealing items from four different properties on The Rath between October 7 and December 2.

A similar charge related to a property on Vickery Crescent on November 29.

No pleas were entered and McCallum is due to appear at Swansea Crown Court on January 3.

He entered a guilty to plea for possession of 4.5grammes of cannabis and the matter was dealt with by way of one day in detention.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesman said: “Milford Haven Police can confirm that a 40-year-old man has been charged with a series of burglaries which took place in Milford town during the past 2 months, due to diligent enquiries by local officers.

“We hope this reassures the public in Milford Haven.”
