STAFF at Dragon LNG have ‘ramped up the red’ to raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation in its fight against heart disease.
Employees dressed in red clothes and accessories, and enjoyed a ‘heart-healthy red lunch’. As part of the campaign to raise awareness of heart disease - the the UK’s single biggest killer - ‘heart health’ MOTs were on offer from Dragon LNG’s Occupational Health Nurse.
The total amount raised through the ‘ramp up the red’ day was £430.
Lynette Fenwick, one of the organisers, with colleagues Julia Norton and Laura Callan, thanked Hilary’s Buffets for kindly donating the ‘hearty’ homemade soup and the Austwel ladies for making the scrumptious desserts.
