SPECULATION continues over whether a buyer has been found for Murco’s Milford Haven refinery.

Reports this week suggest London-based firm Greybull Capital is in negotiations and that the investment firm would also require a partner to continue operating the site.

The refinery currently employs around 400 people and has been up for sale for more than three years.

Greybull, which in the past has bought struggling British high street chains, declined to comment on discussions regarding the Milford Haven site.

Last month Murco said the sales process was 'continuing' and 'actively progressing'.

There have been concerns the site could be turned into a storage facility if a buyer is not found for the refinery.
