BUILDING work has started on a new development of rental flats on St Clement’s Road, in Neyland.
The project, which is costing £382,500, is being paid for by Pembrokeshire Housing Association, with help from the Welsh Government in the form of a social housing grant worth £113,656.
The development, which will comprise four one-bedroom flats and one two-bedroom flat, is being carried out by Neath-based construction company Hale Construction Ltd.
Welcoming the development, local town and county councillor Simon Hancock said: “I am delighted to see this regeneration housing scheme transform derelict land into high quality local housing.”
