DO YOU know someone who has given their time and energy to help Milford Haven be a better place?

This is the last call for nominations this year’s Milford Haven Citizens Awards.

The awards, which formally recognise those who have made a special contribution to the ‘well-being and prestige’ of the town, will be presented to in June. A youth award, for under-18s who have also worked hard for the town, or achieved something special, will also be presented at the same time.

Last year’s winners were Miss Glenys Jones for her outstanding contribution to the town, Beverley Jenkins CPO SCC, commanding officer of the Milford Haven Sea Cadets, for the adult award.

In the youth category, Petty Officer Cadet Tomas Lewis-Jones and PATCH (Pembrokeshire Action To Combat Hardship) youth volunteers were also presented with awards.
