CAN you think up a brilliant name for an oil tanker? Haven Fuels, local distributor of heating oils and fuels, is appealing to youngsters from the Milford Haven area to suggest a fun, innovative name to be printed on its latest tanker.

The competition is being hosted through Haven Fuels’ parent brand, Certas Energy. The winning tanker, which is based at the depot on The Fish Market, will be visible for all to see while on its daily delivery routes in the local area.

Wayne John, regional manager at Haven Fuels, said: “We are looking for new names for our Certas Energy oil tankers and are appealing for local school children to let their imaginations run wild to help us do this.

“The competition is open to children up to the age of 11 and multiple name suggestions are welcome. The winning name will then be printed onto the tanker permanently and this will be seen driving across the Milford Haven area as we deliver oil to our customers.”

As well as seeing their chosen name liveried on the cab of the tanker, the winner will receive a £150 book voucher for their school, plus a model tanker.

Interested parties should visit www.certasenergy.co.uk/namethetanker for further information and to enter the competition.

The closing date for the competition is Sunday, August 31. Winners will be announced within 28 days.
