I READ with interest your report, ''Nuclear dump fears for Kintyre'' (March 20). It explained that the MoD was evaluating a list of 117 sites for a proposed dump of radioactive submarine components.
Let me suggest that the primary weighting consideration is likely to be distance from London. We see kites being flown for Dounreay, Coulport and now Mull of Kintyre. Who
would bet that any final list would include anywhere within 200 miles of Westminster?
