A SECURITY firm supervisor walked free from court yesterday after a
charge of attempted murder of a rave promoter in an Edinburgh street was
found not proven. Mr Darren Shaw, 26, of Esk Drive, Livingston, had
denied attempting to murder Mr Michael McManus, 35, by firing a sawn-off
shotgun at him in Calder Road on April 10 last year.
