MILFORD Haven's cruise season gets underway this week with the arrival of ‘Boudicca’ on Friday (May 1).
Carrying more than 600 passengers, plus 360 crew, the 205-metre ship will arrive in Milford Haven from Falmouth at approximately 8am, where she will be anchored just outside Milford Marina until 5pm, before departing for Liverpool.
Kevin Hobbs, Short Sea Director at the Port of Milford Haven, said that he was looking forward to another busy cruise season.
“We are preparing for the first of seven cruise calls this year.
"As always, we will be providing some exciting shore side entertainment and greeting passengers as they disembark, ready for a packed day exploring some of Pembrokeshire’s most famous visitor attractions.
“Lots of passengers also like to wander around the town, so be sure to give them a warm Milford Haven welcome.”
One of the best vantage points for those who are interested in taking photographs is the area around The Rath.
The next cruise call will be on Saturday, May 23, when Silversea’s ‘Silver Explorer’ will be alongside at Pembroke Port.
