TWENTY pupils from Milford Haven School recently enjoyed the privilege of working with the award winning drama company UCAN Productions.

The pupils - aged between 11 and 17, and selected from a wide range of abilities - helped create a vibrant show entitled UPSTAGE.

Their hard work culminated in a fantastic performance at the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven.

The project was supported by South Hook LNG and the RNIB Cymru Big Lottery Project Future Insight.

Hamad Al Samra, Acting General Manager of South Hook LNG said: “We are so proud to be part of this exciting project; it is a wonderful opportunity for South Hook LNG to support these young people in developing new skills and helping to increase their confidence through new experiences."

Artistic Director of UCAN Productions Bernard Latham said: “It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with these remarkable young people and we are very grateful to Milford Haven School for all the support they have given us."

Jenny Turner, Fresh Start Manager at Milford Haven School, added: “At Milford Haven School we believe that everyone of our pupils deserve a chance to shine and my goodness UCAN Productions make our young stars shine very brightly indeed!

"We are extremely thankful for the support provided from UCAN Productions, South Hook LNG and the RNIB for this very worthwhile and enriching project.”
