NEYLAND’s annual summer carnival has been awarded a cash boost from the town council.
At a meeting on Monday (June 1), councillors agreed to support the carnival with a £250 donation, and pay to put bunting up across the town.
The popular carnival, which returned last year to great fanfare, will be held on Saturday, July 11.
The day will include floats and fancy dress, live music, a showcase of local dancers, slides, gladiators, rodeo bull, gravity wires, food, drink and a whole lot more.
Registration forms for floats are available from the Athletic Club from Monday, June 8.
