THE biggest ever auction of licensed premises in the area is being held in Cardigan on Tuesday, September 25.
A total of nine properties in south Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire will go under the hammer, with price guides totalling nearly £2 million.
The licensed property specialists Sidney Phillips is conducting the public auction at Cardigan's Black Lion Hotel, which is just one of the watering holes up for sale with a price guide of £475,000.
Other properties include the Abergwaun Hotel in Fishguard, which is on the market for £140,000, and the Alma in Milford Haven, which is priced at £125,000.
A spokesman for the agents said: “There is significant interest in all the properties and some may be sold beforehand.
“The auction, which is the biggest of its kind in south Ceredigion, is expected to attract a large gathering and a warm welcome is extended to all.”
The auction starts at 2.30pm.
