A UNIQUE festive party party will again be held in Milford Haven this Christmas Day.

Now in its fourth year, Christmas Together brings together people from the whole community, many of whom might otherwise spend the day by themselves.

The day sees around 100 guests and volunteers share mulled wine, mince pies and carols at the Pill Social Centre, followed by a delicious three-course meal.

Guests then have the chance to chat, relax, make friends, and take part in a Christmas quiz if they want to, and the Queen's speech will also be broadcast.

The day will start at around 11am, and runs until 5pm, and guests are welcome to stay for only part of the day if they wish.

The whole event is free, and transport can usually be arranged to and from the centre.

There are also opportunities for people on their own, couples or groups of friends, to volunteer on the day.

A meeting to allocate roles and responsibilities will be held at the beginning of December.

Anyone wanting to attend the day, either as a guest, or to lend a hand, should contact Cllr guy Woodham by emailing christmastogether@hotmail.co.uk or telephoning 07411 287533.
