Police seal off lane in Houghton
Dyfed-Powys Police officers sealed off a lane in Houghton, near Burton, this morning following the discovery of a woman's body in a pond.
Witnesses told the Western Telegraph there was a large police presence, including dog unit, in the area near Rhoose Ferry Road, close to Williamston Nursing Home.
A police spokesman said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the sudden death of a woman, whose body was discovered in a pond in Houghton, at about 9.20am this morning.
"HM Coroner has been informed.
"There aren’t believed to be suspicious circumstances at this stage.”
The nursing home is open as usual.
