A unique outdoor show combining circus and dance will be performed in Milford Haven today (Wednesday) August 3.

BLOCK is a unique collaboration between two renowned British performance companies - contemporary circus company NoFit State Circus and dance company Motionhouse.

The show sees 20 oversized 'breeze blocks' double as both the performance equipment and the set.

Continually deconstructed and reformed, they create an infinite variety of shapes, structures and equipment for the performers to play on, move with and explore.

BLOCK is created and directed by Kevin Finnan MBE, Artistic Director of Motionhouse, who was the Choreographer and Movement Director of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

Finnan says: “The constant shifting of forms echos the transitory nature of our city centres, the changing landscapes of our environments and within this context, creates a platform on which the bodies talk about change, barriers, obstacles, repetitions, failures and successes.

"The modern city is a nest teeming with activity. Human life streams through this.

"BLOCK is about living in the city, its contradictions and its challenges.”

Performances at 4.30pm and 7.15pm were due to take place in the marina, but will now take place at the Torch Theatre, due to high winds.

As a result of this, the 6pm screening of 'Finding Dory' has been cancelled.

A full refund will be given to customers who have already purchased tickets for the film.

Tickets can be booked on The Torch Theatre’s website www.torchtheatre.co.uk or from the Box Office on 01646 695267.
