A FASHION fundraiser has raised more than £500 to help farmers in need.
The Pembrokeshire Ladies Committee of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) held a fashion show at Image By Vanessa, in Milford Haven, recently, to raise money for the charity.
RABI helps farmers and farmworkers of all ages, giving out grants of around £2 million each year in Wales and England.
Last year, it helped around 200 families across Wales, giving out grants of £263,000 to farming families in hardship. Much of RABI's funding comes from public donations, events arranged by county committees and support from businesses and community groups.
In 2016, the charity has already given out close to £20,000 in Pembrokeshire alone.
RABI regional manager for Wales, Linda Jones, said: “I would like to thank our ladies in Pembrokeshire for once again organising a fabulous fundraising night.
"Our voluntary committees are the lifeblood of R.A.B.I and we appreciate the enthusiasm and dedication shown by them to help others less fortunate than themselves."
Pembrokeshire county chairman Helen Williams added: “Thanks to Vanessa, her staff and the models for another wonderful evening.
"This was our second fashion show at Image By Vanessa and it was a very enjoyable event.
"We are truly grateful for all the support we receive in Pembrokeshire.”
