JUNIOR pirates took part in a treasure hunt around Dale Village thanks to the area's Wildlife Watch group.
Youngsters proved they could navigate using a map and grid references to uncover a pirate chest buried on the beach.
The next free event is Saturday, February 11, from 2pm until 4pm meeting at Dale Fort Field Centre.
The group will be making bird boxes and feeders for families to take home with them.
