A PEMBROKESHIRE woman has taken to social media, in the hopes of tracking down her dad's birth father.

Just a few days ago, Zoe Hughes's father Christopher discovered that the man who raised him was not his biological father.

His mother, Isabel Foulder, gave birth to baby Christopher in 1951, when she was 18.

Later, Christopher was adopted by Isabel and her new husband, and took his name.

"As you can imagine he is heartbroken but desperately seeks answers," said Zoe.

All the family knows is Christopher's father was called Staff Sergeant Burke, and was based at Burtonwood, Lancashire, England.

"My father was born in 1951 so he must have been based at Burtonwood in 1950," said Zoe.

The family understands Sgt Burke was an American solider, and may have been in the Air Force.

Isabel lived in Liverpool at the time, and Christopher lived there unitl moving to Pembrokeshire 30 years ago.

Zoe now hopes her post will be shared all over the world, and that they might track down Christopher's birth father, or his family.
