LIVE music, a Caribbean barbecue and a seaside glitter workshop are just some of the attractions being held at Milford Waterfront during Pembrokeshire Fish Week.

Milford Waterfront has supported a number of fish and sea-themed events being organised by individual businesses along Nelson Quay and Mackerel Quay.

There will be plenty to see and do as local businesses join in with the week-long celebration of Pembrokeshire Fish Week.

Between Saturday, June 24, and Saturday, July 1, activities will include a fishy family fun day at All Pets Vet Care, a rum and lobster event at Foam, fantastic fish specials at the Spinnaker Cafe, nautical sewing workshops at My Little Treasures, a seaside glitter craft workshop at In House Crafts, children’s cookery school with Healthaspire, a Caribbean barbecue at Martha’s Vineyard, shanties at The Scoop, canvas shoe painting at Pebbles Jewellery and Gifts, and a fish barbecue and grill at new restaurant Coco’s.

Free family activities will also be held at Milford Waterfront on Saturday, June 24.

There’ll be entertainment from Samba Doc, the Pembrokeshire Ukulele Pirates and the Vagrants Crew throughout the day, free entry into Milford Haven Museum, and children will be able to make the most of a fishy graffiti class run by Lloyd the Graffiti.

There will also be balloon modelling, and pavement painting outside Phoenix Bowl.

A highlight of the day will be the third annual Milford Chowder Trail in which restaurants will compete to be crowned Milford Chowder Champion 2017. Coco’s, Foam and Pembrokeshire Yacht Club at The Scoop will attempt to take the title from last year’s winner Gordon Bennett’s Traditional Fish and Chips.

This year's official opening events for Pembrokeshire Fish Week will take place on Saturday, June 24 at Lawrenny Fish Festival, and Sunday, June 25, at the Western Telegraph's Big Day Out at Scolton Manor.
