SUNDAY marks the start of a week of festivities to celebrate Thornton Baptist Church's 150th anniversary.

Events are as follows:

Sunday, July 2, 7.30pm, anniversary concert with Haverfordwest Male Voice Choir and soloist Emily Nicholas.

Special guest Judith Morris, president of the Baptist Union of Wales.

A warm invitation is extended to all.

Tuesday, July 4, 2.30pm, Rosalie Stephens will take us on a nostalgic trip back to 1940s Thornton, at the School Room, Lower road.

Wednesday, July 5, 7pm, special prayer meeting in the chapel.

Sunday, July 9, 2pm, anniversary service with guest speaker Lay Pastor Jonathon Brewer of Sandy Hill, and Tim Longsworth and Elizabeth Squires representing Pembrokeshire Baptist Association.
