A PINK army ran, jogged, walked and wheeled around Scolton Manor on Sunday, to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

Mums, sisters, grandmothers, aunts, nieces, nephews, brothers and friends sweated it out in the sun.

Thousands took part in this year's 5k fun run, all raising vital cash and awareness of cancer.

First across the finish line was James Price, with a time of 17 minutes 42 seconds.

Hot on his heels was 49-year-old Julie Williams from Milford Haven, whose brother survived leukaemia following chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.

Everyone had their own reason for taking part, from running in memory of a lost loved one, to supporting someone currently undergoing treatment.

12-year-old Ebony Austin and her mum Sabrina were taking part in memory of Tia Llewellyn, from Milford Haven, who died in December following a short battle with rare childhood cancer.

Ebony's sixth Race for Life, she beat her previous best time by ten minutes this year.

More photos to follow, so check back again later, and congratulations to all who took part.

There will also be a photo special in this week's paper.
