EXCITEMENT is growing in Neyland, ahead of the town's annual carnival.
A small group of volunteers have worked extremely hard in preparation for the big day, which takes place this Saturday, July 8.
Libby Laugharne, carnival princess, will be accompanied by attendants Roxy Gales and Jazmin Kerrison.
The cover for this year's carnival booklet was designed by Neyland Community School pupil Millie, who received a certificate from town mayor Cllr Simon Hancock, and Lynette Round, of Dragon LNG.
The programme is currently on sale, and thanks have been given to the numerous local businesses who have helped sponsor it, and the event itself.
In May, the event was also given a £500 boost from Valero's Pembroke Refinery.
The parade, led by Milford Haven Town Band, will start at Honeyborough Green at 1pm and head down Kensington Road and Riverside Avenue, all the way down to The Promenade.
It will then head up High Street and finish at Neyland Athletic Club after travelling along John Street.
Entertainment, stalls and fun fair rides will be on the field following the procession. Entry is £2 per adult, children go free.
Anyone wishing to enter can find information on the Neyland Carnival Facebook page or by emailing neylandcarnival@gmail.com.
All walkers and floats are asked to gather and register at Honeyborough Green by 12.45pm.
