THE mother of a Milford teenager, who was subjected to vicious online bullying, is now helping other parents and children learn how to deal with issue.
Free training sessions from bullying prevention charity Kidscape will be on offer in Haverfordwest this weekend.
The sessions have been organised by Nicola Harteveld, who set up the Megan's Starr Foundation in memory of her daughter, Megan Evans.
Megan took her own life at the family home in February. She was just 14.
Nicola wants other families to learn how to protect themselves and their children from bullies, both online and in the class room.
The first session for parents and carers will take place this Friday, October 13, between 6pm and 7.30pm.
The talk will look at recognising aggressive behaviour, online safety, and parenting tips.
Sessions for children will take place on Saturday, October 14, between noon and 2.30pm for primary age, and 2.30pm and 5pm for secondary age.
These sessions will look at why bullies target people, body language, speaking up, and staying safe while using social media.
All sessions will take place at the VC Gallery, High Street, Haverfordwest.
To book onto the free sessions, contact Nicola Harteveld on 07388 039089 or email enquiries@megansstarrfoundation.co.uk
