A SPECTACULAR Christmas fundraiser at Folly Farm played to sell-out audiences, and raised more than £8,000 for charity.

The That'll Be The Day variety show - which took place at Folly Farm in December was the "best ever", said organisers.

Not only did it entertain with a huge selection of well-known songs, but this year's event also clocked up £8482.50 for Paul Sartori Hospice at Home.

Event organiser, Phil Thompson MBE, said: "The two Christmas shows were truly amazing and the feedback has been exceptional.

"Many thanks to Folly Farm, Western Telegraph, Radio Pembrokeshire, Paul Sartori and event volunteers.”

Paul Sartori’s community fundraiser Toni Dorkings added: "The performances by the crew are phenomenal – they not only look like some of the acts but sound like them too.

In April, Folly Farm will also play host to Walk Right Back, a show about the Everly Brothers.

Proceeds will again go to Paul Sartori.

And That'll Be The Day will return for a summer show in July.
