SIX hundred pounds will go to a charity helping African mums give birth safely.
The Inner Wheel Club of Milford Haven (District 15) hosted a coffee morning to raise funds for the Life for African Mothers charity.
Guests were treated to an inspirational talk by the charity’s founder Angela Gorman, who explained the plight of African mothers.
Inner Wheel members and their friends have been busy knitting blankets and baby clothes ready to send out to Africa.
The guests were also able to sample a range of homemade cakes, take part in a raffle and buy handcrafted jewellery and scarves.
A fantastic amount of £600 was raised following an excellent turnout.
A brilliant example of how fun and friendship can make a difference in the world.
Inner Wheel of Milford Haven would like to thank the Rotarians of Milford Haven Rotary for their support.
