A PAMPER and Prosecco Evening has raised £460 for the Lota Project, a fundraising group set up to replace and improve the play equipment in Lota Park.

The evening, on February 15, was very well-attended. Guests enjoyed taster sessions with local beauty therapists from Bliss, Fishguard Leisure Centre, House of Beauty, Snippets and Escape to The health and Beauty Clinic.

Hayley Simpson, Dani O'Connor, Katie Elcock, Ailya from Point and Angharad Hall were also on hand to offer mini treatments.

The Co-op Fishguard, Aldi Haverfordwest, Fishguard Library Staff, Councillor Pat Davies and Fishguard and Goodwick Town Council all donated bottles of Processo to help the evening go with a fizz.

"Thanks for your continued support," said joint organiser Rebecca LeFevre. "Every penny donated and raised is a step closer to getting a park that the community deserves."

Mayor Janet Wyer added:

"This was an amazing evening. Can we have another one?"
