THE potential closure of St Clement's Surgery was among issues raised with local MP Stephen Crabb in Neyland recently.

The Preseli-Pembrokeshire MP Stephen Crabb held one of his largest Q&A sessions at the town's Athletic Club recently, with more than 50 locals in attendance.

Ably chaired by town mayor Dr Simon Hancock, the main discussion of the evening was the future of St Clement’s Surgery, which has been earmarked for closure by the Argyle Medical Group.

The MP shared the concerns of local residents regarding the possible closure, and although health in Wales is devolved to the Welsh Assembly, Mr Crabb raised the concerns with the local health board the following day.

Also discussed was broadband provision in the town, international aid and the town’s library.

Mr Crabb’s next Q&A evening will be in Goodwick on March 15.
