JOIN the movers and shakers in free family dance workshops at the Torch Theatre this Easter.

Cardiff-based arts organisations Bombastic and Coreo Cymru are touring theatres across Wales this half-term.

Three leading dance companies, Bombastic, Gary and Pel and Jukebox Collective will join local dance groups for a day of popping and locking, twisting and turning.

The free event is suitable for all ages and includes audio described shows in both Welsh and English with accompanying touch tours, making them suitable for those with visual impairments too.

There will also be a chance to dance in a short workshop taking place straight after the show.

Carole Blade, Creative Producer of Coreo Cymru and mum-of-two, set up the event in 2017 to increase young people’s access to different forms of dance.

She says dance can be enjoyed by all, young and old, and these events offer the chance to perform alongside professionals.

Enjoy fairytale fun for children aged four to 11 with Bombastic, slapstick comedy with Gary and Pel, and street dance with Jukebox Collective.

Performances will be at noon, 2pm and 4pm on Friday, April 6, at the Torch Theatre.

Welsh audio descriptions will run alongside the 2pm show, and English descriptions at 4pm.
