Magistrates have ordered the destruction of Class B and C drugs discovered at a Milford Haven man’s home.

Barry Anthony McElroy, of Willow End, Mount Estate, pleaded guilty to three charges of controlled drug possession when he appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates on Tuesday.

The court heard that 0.8 grams of cannabis and three Valium tablets were discovered when a search warrant was executed at McEleroy’s property on November 11.

A further 0.4 grams of cannabis was found on January 3.

Magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered McElroy, 43, to pay £105 in costs and a surcharge.

A destruction order was made for the seized drugs.
