POLICE are investigating the cause of a fishing boat fire in the early hours of Tuesday morning (April 24).

Emergency services were called to the Haven waterway near Neyland at around 12.30am, following reports of a vessel on fire.

No-one was on board, and a search of the area under and around the Cleddau Bridge was also conducted.

A police spokesman said: "Officers are investigating the cause of the fire, which is being treated as arson.

"Enquiries are continuing, and anyone with information that could assist is asked to contact Pembrokeshire Joint Investigation Unit by calling 101."
