PUB opening hours will be extended on the weekend of the Royal Wedding.

The Home Office will relax licensing hours in England and Wales for two days to celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Pubs will be allowed to open until 1am on the nights of Friday, May 18, and Saturday, May 19.

This does not extend hours on Premises Licences by an additional two hours, so premises permitted to sell alcohol until 1am or beyond already will only be able to operate to their existing hours.

The couple will marry at noon on Saturday, May 19 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
