QUESTIONS over delays in the demolition of a Charles Street eyesore will go before councillors on Thursday.

Local county councillor Guy Woodham will ask members how much the postponement of works at the former Motorworld building in Milford Haven has cost the authority.

Work was originally scheduled to start last May, but following contractors' lack of appropriate certification the work was put on hold.

Delays in accessing training have meant that - 12 months later - the building is still standing.

Cllr Woodham will ask full council what lessons it has learned from the situation, and the financial cost for not progressing as planned.
