RECENT crime figures in Pembroke and Pembroke Dock have seen a slight decrease month-on-month, the latest figures from Dyfed-Powys Police have revealed.

Crime figures reported in Pembroke Dock decreased month-on-month, from 125 in March to 118 in April, while the Pembroke area increased from 94 in March to 93 in April.

Pembroke Dock saw incidents of antisocial behaviour increase month-on-month from 32-48, while Pembroke stayed the same with 23 in March and April.

Offences recorded in Pembroke Dock in April included 12 criminal damage or arson, down from 19; 24 violence offences, down from 28; five shoplifting, down from nine; nine other theft; seven burglary, down from nine; one vehicle crime, down from five; five public order; and six drugs offences, down from seven.

The Pembroke area saw 24 criminal damage, down from 25; 21 violence-related offences, up from 19; five burglary, up from four; four drugs, down from five; three vehicle crime; seven other theft; two shoplifting; and three public order.

The trend over 2017 and 2018, based on the latest figures, shows Pembroke Dock crime figures at 112 in October 2017, 110 In November, 103 December, 140 in January 2018, 125 in February and 118 in March.

Pembroke and the surrounding area saw recorded figures of 96 in October 2017, 78 in November, 53 in December, 69 in January 2018, 83 in February, 94 in March and 93 in April.
