MILFORD Haven Neighbourhood Policing Team has been out and about, offering safety advice and meeting with local people this week.

On Thursday, Sgt Terri Harrison, PC Neil Lees, PCSO Leanne Nicholls and PCSO Daria Osmolak attended the monthly PACT (Partnerships And Communities Together) meeting at Johnston Institute.

These meetings, which take place every second Thursday at 7pm, are a chance for locals to highlight community concerns and for police to provide feedback on progress on ongoing issues.

The NPT is also looking at new locations in which to expand its Community Speedwatch programme.

The patrols are carried out by volunteers, with support from officers, and help curb speeding on the county's roads.

If you would like to volunteer with the Speedwatch scheme, or as a volunteer with the Mount Estate neighbourhood watch scheme, contact Milford Haven Police Station on 101 or call into the station to speak with PCSO Thomas.

This week also sees officers attending a parenting network event in Haverfordwest, promotion of Milford's new sensory toy lending library, and surgeries at Neyland Co-Op Store, and Milford Haven School.

On Friday, commitments allowing, PCSOs will be accompanying Youth Outreach Workers within the town talking with our younger members of the community, promoting events run by the Youth Service and activities at Milford Haven Youth Centre.
