A FORMER firefighter has said he is 100 per cent committed to representing Hubberston, after winning a vote to join Milford Haven Town Council.

Paul Coe, 53, was born in Woodbine Way, and has lived in Hubberston all his life.

Passionate about his community, he has been involved with Milford Haven Round Table, has fundraised for the NSPCC and the Welsh Air Ambulance, and supported several wards at Withybush Hospital.

He spent two decades working on pilot boats for the Port of Milford Haven, and spent 15 years as a retained firefighter at Milford Haven station.

He is married with two children, and recently welcomed his fourth grandchild.

Cllr Coe claimed victory at an election in June, earning 245 votes. He beat off competition from former town councillor Julie Hawkins, and newcomer Frank Hinley.

Thanking those who voted for him, Cllr Coe said: “I have lived in Hubberston all my life, and would like to give something back to the community of which I am very proud to be a part.”
