WORSHIP Next Sunday, August 19, in the United Parish of Pembroke Dock will be as follows: 9.30am Holy Communion at St John's Church; 11am Morning praise at St Teilo's Church; 11am Holy Communion at St Patrick's Church; 6pm Evensong in St John's Church.

Events and activities in the parish this week will be as follows:

Wednesday, August 15: 9.15am Morning Prayer at St John's Church; 2pm Arty Crafty at St John's Community Hall.

Thursday, August 16: 9.15am Morning Prayer at St John's Church; 10am Thursday Church at St John's Church, which is then open until 1pm.

Friday, August 17: 9.15am Morning Prayer at St Patrick's Church; Pot luck supper and quiz evening, at 7pm St John's Community hall. Price is £5, All welcome.

The next Messy Church will be September 1st 11 am at St John's Community Hall.

A spokesperson said: "We now have a vacancy for a vicar in the parish and will keep everyone informed about progress.

"Worshippers will wish to thank the Rev Nicky Skipworth for her years of service and encouragement to the parish, she will be greatly missed. We send blessings to the Skipworth family as they embark on their new adventures."

Volunteers are needed to manage and prepare the quarterly rota of Readers and sidespersons for St Johns. If you feel you can fulfil this valuable role please contact a member of the Ministry Team or a Parish Warden.
