STAFF from a Milford Haven estate agent joined colleagues from across the county as they swapped sharp suits for walking boots, all in aid of charity.

More than £10,000 has been raised by members of FBM Group, who completed a misty trek up mount Snowdon earlier this month.

They were raising money for the Huntington’s Disease Association.

Despite horrendous weather conditions, 49 people started and - crucially - finished the climb,

Kaley Yeomans, FBM Milford Haven branch manager said: "When the Snowdon climb was first mentioned we rather naively put our names down as all of the fundraising proceeds were going to such a wonderful charity.

"It was one of the hardest challenges we have faced but along with our FBM colleagues and friends and colleagues from around the country we did it together.

"There were great laughs, some brilliant one liners, hilarious banter and some very low times, but we were all there for each other.

"As a result of this a massive £70,000 throughout the country has been raised towards this heartbreaking illness."

Huntington's disease is an inherited condition that stops parts of the brain working properly.

It gets gradually worse over time and is usually fatal.

There us currently no cure, but treatment and support can help those who are diagnosed manage their symptoms.
